Our vision and values
A big family
At Fun Time Nursery we pride ourselves on being a big ‘family’. We believe children should have a safe, secure environment, where they can feel confident to voice their wants and needs.
We strive to create a learning environment in which children are stimulated and challenged, whilst still feeling that they have the support and encouragement from the practitioners in the nursery.
We understand, that to provide the best possible care and teaching opportunities for the children, how important it is to build positive partnerships with the children’s family unit.
We endeavour to be great role models to support the children in building relationships, following clear, consistent boundaries, and meeting behavioural expectations within the nursery.
We value our children as individuals and we feel that to be a successful learner, we must allow the child to be curious about the world around them and have opportunities to explore.
We provide an active curriculum which has been shaped around our children’s context and we deliver this through high quality interactions and real-life experiences in a carefully planned environment.
We use a well thought out key worker system to ensure each child receives a tailored learning journey to maximise their experiences and enable us to extend their emotional and practical skills to achieve high levels of independency and competency.
