3 years to 4 years

Fun Time Nursery’s pre-school room, also known as the Sunshines room, will prepare your child for school by encouraging their development in all 7 areas of learning, using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Fun Time Nursery always encourages a positive and educational experience for your child, this will be achieved through a daily routine. The Sunshines room uses a hands on approach in which children learn from real life experiences. The children have access to an enriched environment, including a play dough station, which they are normally able to independently make themselves from their experiences in the previous rooms.

The children have visits monthly from Boogie Beats, which is a music and movement class, which encourages the social and emotional development of children and is also very enjoyable. This is entirely funded by the nursery.

The Sunshines room will support your child as an individual with the use of bespoke learning journey. The room will also help them with their confidence and will help improve concentration, so that they can begin school in the best possible way.

To encourage positive behaviours from all children, Fun Time Nursery has an interactive emotions board to help children to express their emotions in a positive way.
